Three people have been killed in a road crash in Co Mayo this afternoon.
The tragedy happened following on the N17 at Castlegar, near Claremorris.
It is understood a car collided with a truck.
The accident happened around lunchtime and the emwergency services are still at the scene.
The road is closed in both directions and is expected to remain closed for a number of hours.
