Gardai are appealing for witnesses after a car was stolen in Letterkenny before later being found abandoned in the town.
Gardaí were contacted on Wednesday, March 20th by a resident in the area of Ard Lonan, Long Lane, Letterkenny to say their car had been stolen between the hours of 5.15am and 6.30am.
The car in question was a white Toyota Vitz, partial registration ‘132 DL 27’.
The stolen car was located later that day at midday in the Glencar Irish area where it had been abandoned.
A Garda spokesperson said “We appeal to anybody who may have observed this car being driven in or around Letterkenny on that date to make contact with Gardaí.
“If anybody travelled in the areas of Ard Lonan between 5.15am and 6.30am or within the area of Glencar Irish between 10am and Midday on March 20th with a dash cam, we ask them to make contact with Gardaí.
