Burtonport fishermen seek permission for large solar-run storage units

The Burtonport Fisherman’s Co-op has sought planning permission for a number of large dry-goods storage units.

The units will be located at Leckanagh, Burtonport.

Neil Doherty has made the application for the four storage units as well as a two storey office units.

The four storage units will measure a total of 1,100 sq metres while the office units will be 750 sq metres.

The application to Donegal County Council also includes plans for an underground rain water storarge facility s well as access and parking.

A Natura Impact Statement has been included with the application.
