A car has been seized and its driver given a court date after they tried to evade Gardaí in Donegal Town this morning.
Gardaí say that after spotting a car driving in a suspicious manner while on their patrols, the car in question then made attempts to evade Gardaí before stopping.
Subsequently it was found that the car had no insurance.
The car has been seized, with Gardaí saying the driver will now face court proceedings.
