Diversions are in place for motorists travelling through Ballybofey and Stranorlar this afternoon.
As the Twin Towns’ annual Easter commemoration is being held, there will only be local access for motorists on the Main Street.
Diversions will be place from 1:30pm to 5:30pm.
Traffic coming from Donegal Town travelling northwards will be diverted at Lidl on the Donegal Road in Ballybofey, over Dreenan and onwards to the N15 at Stranorlar.
Meanwhile, traffic from Letterkenny/Lifford will be diverted at Millbrae over Dreenan and back out again at Lidl on the Donegal Road in Ballybofey.
Gardaí are also asking anybody who intends to travel through the Twin Towns on Easter Sunday to leave extra time for their journey today as a result.
