A man has been arrested after an incident at a house in Ballybofey this morning.
It is understood the man, who is in his 20s, was found injured at the house in the Ard McCarron area of the town.
The owners of the house were not present at the time.
The man was arrested and it is due to appear at a future court sitting.
A spokesperson for the Garda Press Office told Donegal Daily “Gardaí are investigating an incident of criminal damage which occurred at a domestic residence in Ballybofey, Co. Donegal this morning, Sunday 31st March 2024.
“A man (20s) who was arrested in relation to the incident has subsequently been charged.
“He is due to appear before Letterkenny District Court at a later date. Investigations are ongoing.”
