Donegal Gardai have confirmed they are investigating an incident which saw two jeeps racing on the main Letterkenny to Derry Road over the Bank Holiday Weekend.
The terrifying incident happened just before 6pm on Sunday evening during heavy traffic.
The two jeeps were caught on dashcam footage by another driver.
A gold-coloured Ford Ranger jeep can be viewed undertaking a vehicle while another unidentified jeep overtakes the vehicle at the same time.
The vehicles can then be seen weaving in and out of traffic during the dangerous incident which occurred close to Burt.
A Garda spokesperson told Donegal Daily that they are aware of the incident and it is being investigated.
