The price of childcare services in Donegal is as expensive as €1,200 a month with at least one provider, according to a report in today’s Irish Independent.
Their nationwide analysis found that in Donegal, while the cheapest monthly rate quote was at €600 – the most expensive was double that at €1,200 – showing a massive price disparity.
Prices for creches in Donegal are around average for the state as a whole, the most expensive being in South Dublin, and the cheapest in Monaghan with prices ranging between €340 and €700.
