Magee is a fifth-generation Irish family business with over 150 years’ experience designing, weaving and tailoring luxury fabrics and high-quality garments based in Donegal Town. We offer lifestyle collections across Men, Women, Home & Accessories via our stores in Donegal and Dublin, our own website – www.magee1866.com and through many independent retailers.
We wish to recruit a Sales Assistant to work full-time (37.5 hrs/week) at our iconic store on The Diamond in Donegal Town.
Key requirements are:-
- An engaging and enthusiastic personality with a passion for selling high-quality menswear and the potential to grow sales.
- Exceptional communications and customer service skills providing an unforgettable in-store experience resulting in repeat business.
- An interest in clothing and tailoring as this role will spend some time working in our Made-to-Measure section where a keen eye and excellent attention to detail are critical.
- Ideally, a minimum 2-3 years’ experience selling high quality products in a similar retail environment.
The successful candidate will join a great team of enthusiastic and energetic people so you will need to be a good team-player whilst also being able to work on your own initiative. On-the-job training will be provided.
The store is open Monday-Sunday so flexibility is an essential requirement. The working week is 37.5 hrs across five days.
