Local stars called to the catwalk for North West 10k Fashion Show

Get ready for a night of glamour and giving! The Radisson BLU Hotel in Letterkenny is set to transform into a fashion runway tonight for the highly-anticipated North West 10k Charity Fashion Show.

Local personalities from the worlds of news, sport, politics and more will be taking on the role of models this Thursday evening, 4th April.

Doors open at 7.30pm. A handful of tickets are available at Cara House, secure yours today by calling 074 912 3986.

Just a few of the familiar faces you’ll see strutting their stuff are Donegal GAA Chairperson Mary Coughlan, Garda Chief Superintendent Goretti Sheridan, Cllr Niamh Kennedy, Miss Earth Ireland Layla Doherty, Finn Harps Manager Darren Murphy, Boxer Jason Quigley, Model Aine McBrearty and more!

Fashion fans will be treated to a glass of prosecco on arrival, a stylish show hosted by Virgin Media personality Emma Murray, and music by the talented DJ Ois Bosh. Podcasters Vinny and Marty will be your MCs for the evening.

Enjoy a showcase of the latest styles from a variety of local men’s and women’s stores, including Clare Clothing, Pure Boutique, The Gray Room, Pamela Scott, The Sequin Cinderella, Michael Murphy Sports, and Finn Harps Supporters Shop.

This is a hugely well-supported event by people all across the county and promises to be a special night, supporting three Donegal initiatives.

All proceeds from the event will go to support this year’s North West 10k chosen charities, including the Kilmacrennan, Termon, Gartan, Churchill and Trentagh Community First Responders, Cara House Family Resource Centre and the Letterkenny Community Childcare Centre.

The 27th North West 10k will take place on Bank Holiday Monday the 6th of May in Letterkenny. Entries are being taken online for a charity event that has raised over 931,000 euros since the Northwest 10k started in 1997, benefitting 38 charity organisations.

People are now being urged to get registered, get training and get the word out to support the Northwest 10k charities of 2024. Online entries are now being taken for May’s event by going to https://www.njuko.net/nw_10k_2024 where runners and walkers will find all the information required.  Sponsorship cards are available from committee members and the benefitting charities.
