The Ardara Anonymous Art Auction is being held in Nancy’s Bar Ardara on Saturday next, April 13 starting at 8.30 pm.

So far, it will feature 56 pieces of beautiful artwork, in different mediums and sizes both in portrait and landscape forms, by both known artists and local people.

Artwork has travelled from as far as the U.S.A. and organiser, Clare Molloy, has some special pieces of work from local Ukrainian residents.

The auction will be anonymous, in other words, you don’t know who’s art you are purchasing until you have bought it.

You are buying the artwork for the appreciation of the artwork. So it could be an artist or a local’s name on the back of the piece.

Bids will be taken for any piece of artwork seen on the Facebook page by contacting Clare on (087) 2842012, before Thursday, April 11.

You can view all the artwork to date on Ardara Anonymous Art Auction 2024 on Facebook.

Proceeds are in aid of the Downstrands Family Resource Centre and the Donegal Mountain Rescue Team – two very worthy causes.
