Funding has been announced for resurfacing works on the Bluestack Way walking trail.
The €10,000 allocation is a part of a wider €400,000 investment in walking trails nationwide announced by the Government today.
According to the Department of Rural and Community Development, the €10,000 allocated to the Bluestack Way will allow for the “upgrade and enhancement of a green bog road including drain reopening and resurfacing.”
The works will take place on the Binbane bog road which forms part of the trail.
