Huge crowds turn out for 5k fun run in memory of Tomás Mullen

A massive crowd showed up for a charity 5k fun run and walk in memory of the late Tomás Mullen today.

All of the runners and walkers were raising money for the Children in Crossfire charity, while also marking what would have been Tomás’ 18th birthday this week, and supporting his amazing mum Geraldine.

On 20th August 2020, dad John (49) and children Tomás (14) and Amelia (6) Mullan lost their lives in a tragic road accident at Quigley’s Point between Derry and Moville. Geraldine was the sole survivor.

Crowds gathered for the run at the Mullan Hope Centre this morning, with runners at the ready for a fun day’s out.

Almost £2,000 has been raised via a JustGiving fundraiser for the 5k in Tomás’ honour.

You can donate to it here: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/cictomas5k
