Letterkenny played host to the Donegal Community Games Cross Country finals on Saturday morning, with athletes from across the county battling it out in testing weather conditions.
Despite the wind and rain, which proved to be perfect for a true cross country challenge, a fantastic turnout saw competitors showcasing their skills. Nancy McNamee (Ramelton) and Sean McGinley (Gweedore), the event coordinators, were thrilled with the day’s success, praising the participation and thanking St. Eunan’s for providing the venue.
The top four finishers in each race earned the coveted right to represent Donegal at the National Finals. A big thank you was also extended to the entire team who volunteered their time and efforts to ensure the event ran smoothly.
