Gardaí are seeking sightings of a Silver/Beige Skoda Octavia following the attempted theft of a business in Carndonagh last weekend.

The break-in occurred in broad daylight, between 11.30am and 12.30pm on Sunday, April 14th.

Some damage was also reported at the premises on Church Road. The details have not been disclosed by gardaí.

CCTV footage from the scene is being reviewed by gardaí.

Gardaí are also urging the public’s help, specifically those who have dash cam footage.

A spokesperson said: “We are particularly interested in any sightings or dash cam footage of a Silver/Beige Skoda Octavia that was in that area at the time.”

“If anybody can assist with dash cam footage we ask them to contact Buncrana Garda Station on 074-9320540. The Garda Confidential line may be contacted on 1800 666 111.”
