The people of Glenswilly, Tullygay, Bomany, Conwal, Newmills and surrounding areas are invited to work together to give their communities a great spring clean this weekend.

The annual community clean-up kicks off this Saturday 20th April from 10am. Equipment will be provided at Glenswilly GAA car park for volunteers to gather litter and get their area looking clean and green for all to enjoy.

Many hands made light work, and everyone is asked to get involved and make a real impact.

Cllr Donal ‘Mandy’ Kelly is looking forward to supporting volunteers and making the day a big success.

He said: “I will be at Glenswilly GAA Grounds from 9.30am for anyone needing bags or litter pickers.

“There will be a skip at Glenswilly GAA Grounds should you want to dispose of your bags.

“I’d ask that anyone that has litter pickers and Hi Vis vests from previous years bring them along with them.

“We have a great community and it would be great to see a big crowd coming out to keep the area clean.

“Should you require any further information give me a call – 0866666490.”
