Vodafone has told customers in east Donegal that a ‘major fault’ is behind issues with broadband connection and speeds in the area.

Since early yesterday, business and residential clients have been experiencing difficulties.

A representative of the company confirmed to one customer that a ‘major fault’ in the area was causing disruption to services and their team is working to resolve the matter.

However, Vodafone could not give a timeline as to when the matter would be resolved.

Donegal Daily was unable to contact the Vodafone Ireland press office for a comment.
