Scoil Naisiúnta Eoin Pól Loch an Iúir Given Green Light for a Special Classroom for new Academic School Year – McHugh

Scoil Eoin Pól Loch an Iúir, Anagaire, have received confirmation this morning that their school has been sanctioned a Special Classroom for pupils with Autism and additional needs, commencing in the new academic year, in September 2024.

Joe McHugh, Teachta Dála for Donegal, said “I am pleased to learn that Scoil Eoin Pól Loch an Iúir has been given the go head for the opening of a Special Classroom for pupils with additional needs attending their school. This is very welcome news for the children who will benefit, for their families and for the school community.

“I wish to acknowledge the SENO (Special Educational Needs Organiser) and Mandy McGarvey, NCSE, for working with the team at Scoil Eoin Pól in ensuring they secured this important facility at the school.

“I wish to commend the dedication and commitment to this project at Scoil Eoin Pól by Principal Mairead Nic Suibhne, her school team and the Board of Management, for their support in ensuring this application was successful.

“Comhghairdeas agus ádh mór le Mairead agus foireann uilig na scoile amach anseo,” concluded McHugh.
