Two Donegal men took the chance of having two major birthdays in close proximity to raise some great money for charity recently.
Stephen Anderson and Jimmy McGroarty celebrated their 50th and 70th birthdays respectively with a special birthday bash held at the Bay Bush in Ballintra.
The combined efforts of all attending led to an amazing €4,000 being raised for two charities.
Jimmy presented a €2,000 cheque to the Solace Cancer Support Centre in Donegal Town, with another €2,000 being donated to SHOUT, the Sligo Hospital Oncology Unit Trust.
