There’s a fun-filled week ahead in Lifford with Lifford Together, with a jam-packed programme of concerts, sports and family-friendly events from April 27th to May 5th in support of the Lough Swilly RNLI.

The idea was sparked by a group of individuals from the sporting and business communities in Lifford to keep the Lough Swilly Lifeboat Station financially “afloat”. Over the years Lough Swilly RNLI has saved over 79 people and rescued nearly 900 people.

The festival brings the local community and people from the surrounding area out for a fun series of events culminating in a prize giving night at the Lifford Greyhound Stadium on Sunday May 5th.

The week kicks off with a Turbothon static bike challenge at Lifford Stadium on Saturday, April 27th from 1pm to 7pm. All bikers will get a free ticket to the Swilly Lifeboat Prize Draw.

Tuesday 30th April will see a Charity Soccer Match between a Lifford Select and Finn Harps at Greenbrae at 7pm.

Don’t miss the Darts and Pool Tournaments at The Central Bar on May 1st and 2nd

Enjoy weekend entertainment at The Lifford Old Courthouse with two concerts: a Perfect Illusion  – Lady Gaga tribute on Friday May 3rd and singer Sean Keane live on Saturday 4th May. Get tickets here.

A Kids Fun Day takes place at Eclipse Cinema on Saturday May 4th from 12:30pm to 3pm, featuring a kids’ film, free face painting, and arts and crafts.

Furry friends can get involved too! There will be a Dog Walk and Dog Show at Lifford Stadium on May 5th with registration from 10.30am. The walk itself begins at 11:30 am and will wind its way through the scenic Roughan area. After the walk, everyone is invited back to Lifford Stadium for the dog show. There will be categories for all shapes and sizes of canine companions, so no dog will be left out!

The family dog show will be followed by a Gala Night of Racing at the stadium at 6pm.

The Lifford Together Grand Draw will be held at Lifford Stadium’s Gala Night. All Grand Draw The first prize in the Grand Draw is €2,000! Ticket holders get 50% off entrance to the Gala Night and all people who book a meal in the restaurant on the evening will receive a free ticket to the draw.

All proceeds from the events will go to the R.N.L.I. Lough Swilly, a vital life-saving service in the area.
