An epic adventure race and community fundraiser is kicking off in Mountcharles this year.
The inaugural ‘Monte Challenge’ is Mountcharles’s inaugural Adventure Race taking place on Saturday, September 7th!
This exciting event will be the first of its kind in the region, offering participants a chance to explore the breathtaking beauty of the Wild Atlantic Way and the wilds of the Bluestacks.
Adventure enthusiasts can choose from three routes that cater to different skill levels, all completed on foot and by bike. Whether you choose the Little Monte, the Half Monte and the Full Monte, there’s a challenge waiting for you!
The organisers are a voluntary group formed to create a National Sporting event in Mountcharles to fundraise for three local organisations – St Nauls GAA, St Peter’s National School and The Bluestack Foundation.
