Gardaí investigate overnight burglary at Buncrana business

An investigation is underway after two iPhones were stolen from a business in Market Square Buncrana last week.

The incident is believed to have taken place between approximately 1.30am and 1.40am in the early hours of Wednesday 24th April.

The door to the premises was forced open two iPhones were taken – a green iPhone 15 and a black iPhone X.

Gardaí are appealing for assistance from the public: “If anybody was in the area around that time with a dash cam we ask them to please make the footage available to us,” a spokesperson said.

“If anybody observed three youths on foot at Market Square or in the general area of Maginn Avenue which was the direction of travel following the incident, we ask them to make contact with us.

“If anybody has relevant information they can contact Gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540 or contact the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111.”
