Ireland reaches Eurovision final with haunting performance by Bambie Thug

Bambie Thug has become Ireland’s first Eurovision finalist in six years after an electrifying performance in the semi-finals.

The Cork singer reached the qualifying 10 in Malmo, Sweden this evening with their electro rock track, ’Doomsday Blue’.

Their costuming began with a bewitching theme, before suddenly turning to represent the pinks and blues of the Trans flag.

Bambie Thug will now go on to perform in the grand final this Saturday.

Ireland, which holds the records for the most Eurovision wins, hasn’t claimed the title since 1996, when Eimear Quinn sang ‘The Voice’ in Oslo.
