Uisce Éireann is investigating reports of a sewer line leak in the centre of Ballybofey.
Over the past number of days, locals have been complaining of foul smells and ‘coloured water’ on the footpath at Upper Main Street.
Following a query by Donegal Daily, Uisce Éireann said they are currently looking into the matter.
“Uisce Éireann is investigating reports of a leaking pipe in Ballybofey town and will carry out repairs if necessary,” the spokesperson said.
