Man hospitalised after overnight Donegal road crash

Gardaí say one man was hospitalised after a collision in Clonmany overnight.

Two cars collided on the main street in Clonmany just after midnight at approximately 12:15am.

One man was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment following the accident.

Gardaí say the road in Clonmany currently remains closed as a technical examination of the scene takes place.

UPDATE: Gardaí have released updated information regarding the incident, classifying it as a “serious” hit-and run.
