Police in the North have appealed for witnesses after a brutal assault in County Antrim left a man without parts of both ears.

The man, aged in his late teens, was assaulted just after midnight in the High Street area of Antrim.

He was hospitalised after having chunks of both his ears bitten off in the brutal attack.

Anyone who was in the area at the time or has mobile phone footage of the incident has been asked to contact Police.
