The Irish Senior Citizens Parliament will take their annual Budget workshop outside of Dublin this year, bringing it to Donegal next week.
The information event will take place in the Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny, on Tuesday, May 21, at 10:30 am.
“Our budget workshops help us to determine and highlight the actual needs of older persons in Ireland which will shape our asks of government for Budget 2025,” a spokesperson for the parliament said.
At the workshop, they will present the preliminary results of their budget surveys, completed by over 400 older adults so far.
“The more older people we can work with, the stronger our voice will be. In addition, we will offer some ways in which you can engage with your local politicians to help make a difference for yourself and all older people in your area.”
If you are interested in attending this workshop, please register for free with Grace, by email office@seniors.ie or by phone (085 260 4957). Spaces are limited and registration closes on Thursday 16th May.
