Commenting on the National Enterprise Awards, Brenda Hegarty Head of Enterprise Donegal, said: “Living Green is a great example of a business that has grown steadily across two decades, creating a movement dedicated to cultivating a greener, healthier world. Neil Crossan and his team are great ambassadors for the county, and we wish them every success in the National Enterprise Awards this year.”

Adding to this, Neil Crossan said: “We’re delighted to be representing Donegal in the National Enterprise Awards. We’ve been in business for over twenty years and our Local Enterprise Office has always been very supportive.”

“Our mission as a business is to empower farmers and gardeners with the tools they need to grow top-quality vegetables and plants while nurturing the earth we all call home. Our commitment to organic, chemical-free cultivation methods without peat, underscores our dedication to environmental stewardship. The embodiment of my vision for Living Green, is a business committed to offering environmentally conscious and health-promoting products to customers seeking a greener and healthier lifestyle.” Neil added.

Discussing developments in the industry since the business was established, Neil said: “What sets our products at Living Green apart is a commitment to sustainability and innovation. With a decade of compost manufacturing experience and two decades in business, our customer retention rate of 95% is a testament to our reliability and excellence. Our team has put in years of hard work to achieve this customer trust, and it’s important to recognise that when we started, the focus on sustainability wasn’t as widespread as it is today. We’re grateful for the opportunity to continue pioneering in this field and to contribute positively to our planet’s future.”
