One security worker had to be hospitalised after a vicious assault overnight at a site earmarked for refugee housing in County Tipperary.
Vehicles were also set on fire in the shocking incident.
Gardaí say the attack took place at 11:40pm last night, at the site in Clonmel.
It’s understood a number of individuals stormed the building site as part of the targeted assault on the housing project, which is set to host 82 temporary homes for Ukrainian refugees.
Garda investigations into the incident are ongoing.
