Gardaí are appealing for information after two houses were vandalised in separate attacks in the Twin Towns at the weekend.

The first incident occurred at an address in Blue Cedars, Ballybofey, on Sunday night at approximately 11.40pm when the sitting room window of the house was smashed.

“We are particularly interested in any sightings of a lone male in the area on foot or on a bike around that time,” a garda spokesperson said.

The second attack occurred in the early hours of yesterday morning, shortly after midnight, at Glenpatrick Park, Ballybofey.

Significant damage was caused to a car at an address there and the sitting room window of the property was also smashed.

“If anybody travelled in the Glenpatrick Park area, or on the Donegal Road area, with a dash cam between 11.45pm and 00.15am that night we ask them to make contact with us also,” a garda spokesperson said.

If anybody can assist with information or footage in relation to either incident, they are asked to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 0749167100. The Garda Confidential Line may also be contacted on 1800 666 111.
