The Criminal Assets Bureau have carried out a series of raids across Donegal this morning, Donegal Daily can reveal.
Three properties were raided in the county this morning by CAB officers supported by local members of An Garda Siochana.
Two of the properties are private homes based in West Donegal while a third was a business premises in Letterkenny.
We understand that all three properties are connected.
A total of 70 officers took part in the operation with a number of CAB officers traveling from Dublin to coordinate the raids.
The raids took place at the same time with officers entering all premises around 6am.
Documents were removed from at least one of the premises.
A Garda presence at all three locations has now ended.
A Garda spokesperson said this is an ongoing operation and will notify media accordingly.
