The volunteer Donegal Mountain Rescue Team (DMRT) has issued an important notice to its supporters following Meta’s decision to remove ‘donate’ buttons.
As of July 1st of this year, all avenues to donate to the team via Facebook and Instagram will cease.
“As we are a voluntary organisation who rely almost exclusively on the donations from the public, this is very unfortunate,” a DMRT spokesperson said.
“As such, we would like to bring your attention once again to our iDonate page, the link for which is below and will be available on both our Instagram and Facebook pages. Our sincerest thanks for all your support, we would not be here without it.”
