Motorists in west Donegal are being advised that the road from Frosses to Glenties will be closed for a number of days next week.

Part of the R262 road will be shut from Monday to facilitate resurfacing works, from 8am to 6pm daily from Monday the 27th to Friday the 31st of May.

The road will be closed between Meentakill and Tullnaglaggan.

All normal road traffic will be diverted to the Ardaghey – Ardara Road (LP1515), while larger HGV Traffic is advised to use the N56 Ardara-Killybegs road.
