Relay For Life 2024 is nearing its completion in Letterkenny, with participants running laps since 4pm on Saturday afternoon.
The annual event brings Donegal together to remember cancer survivors, carers, and those who have passed away from the disease.
An annual highlight of the event is the Luminaria – light display – where attendees gather to remember every life that has been touched by cancer in one way or another.
Candle bags are lit all the way around the running track, with “The Lone Table” in the middle – a reminder of the many empty spaces left in many homes.
There were also a number of musical performances and readings given also.
Thanks to Clive Wasson Photography for these snaps of the evening’s events.
