Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a crash in Dungloe at the weekend in which three pedestrians, including a baby, were injured.

The incident, involving a van, occurred at the Carnmore Road, at the junction between Lower Main Street, on Saturday at approximately 4.20pm.

The pedestrians, one adult, one child and a baby, were taken by ambulance to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive medical treatment for injuries sustained. However, none of their injuries are believed to be life threatening in nature.

Gardaí are interested in speaking to anyone who may have witnessed this collision.

“We appeal to anybody who may have travelled in the area around that time with a dash cam to make the footage available to us,” Garda Sergeant Eunan Walsh said.

Gardaí in Milford may be contacted on 074-9153060 in relation to this incident.
