A number of homes and businesses are currently without water in the Letterkenny area this afternoon.
A burst water main has led to water outages in Ballyraine and other parts of the town.
Uisce Éireann crews are carrying out repairs at the scene currently.
According to their supply and service updates website the works are scheduled to go on as far as midnight tonight, but local Councillor Donal “Mandy” Kelly says that repairs should be finished by 2pm this afternoon.
