Election 2024: 100% Redress Party looking strong in Inishowen

The story of Inishowen so far is the tallying of the 100% Redress Party.

Both Joy Beard and Ali Farren are polling well.

All the boxes are open in Buncrana and Carndonagh and bother are flying.

In Buncrana there is a total of 12 candidates doing battle for five seats.

Sinn Fein’s sitting councillor Jack Murray is also doing well as expected.

Both Murray and Beard are topping the tally in Buncrana with Sinn Fein’s Terry Crossan in third while Fionán Bradley, Fianna Fail is in fourth followed by his party colleague and sitting councillor Paul Canning in fifth.

In Cardonagh Ali Farren is flying with 28.2% of the votes tallied followed by sitting councillor Martin McDermott of Fianna Fail on 26% of the vote with another sitting councillor, Albert Doherty of Sinn Fein on third with 12.7% and Martin Farren of Labour on 12.6%.

Sitting councillor Johnny McGuinness of Fine Gael is next with 9.3% of the tallied votes.
