Historian Joe Kelly will travel over the tracks of time when he delivers a talk on the history of the Donegal Railways tomorrow night.

Conwal Parish Church hall in Letterkenny is the venue for the lecture.

The Falcarragh-based school teacher is an acknowledged expert on many aspects of local history and contributes to periodicals as well as guesting on Highland Radio on a regular basis.

His talk will trace the development of the railways in the county up to their demise in the fifties and sixties.

The lecture commences at 8.p.m. tomorrow night and will be followed by refreshments in the parish church hall.
