Creeslough pupils enjoy tea and a chat with President Higgins

It’s not often that you get the chance to visit the President and have tea.

But pupils from sixth class of Scoil Mhuire, Creeslough did exactly that yesterday.

Accompanied by their teachers and Fr John Joe Duffy, curate at St Michael’s Church, the group traveled to Áras an Uachtaráin.

The pupils had a lovely chat with President Michael D Higgins while Fr Duffy also had a private meeting with President Higgins.
