Almost 400 planning permissions were granted by Donegal County Council in the first quarter of this year.
According to the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO), the majority of the grants, 173, were for new dwellings.
The remainder come under the headings of ‘New Construction Other’ (83), Extensions (93) and 44 Alterations and Conversions.
