Car vandalised and set alight outside Killybegs home

Gardaí are investigating a sinister incident in which a car was attacked and set alight outside a house near Killybegs yesterday morning.

The attack took place at Meengilcarry, Killybegs (between Killybegs and Ardara) sometime between 1.30am and 3am.

“A car that was parked at the owner’s home was smashed up and set alight between those times,” Garda Grainne Doherty said. 

“We appeal to anybody who may have travelled in the area with a dash cam at any stage between those times to make contact with Gardaí.”
