Gardaí have confirmed that a body was discovered on Tullan Strand in Bundoran this morning.
The local garda station was alerted to the discovery at approximately 10:45 am.
The individual was pronounced deceased at the scene.
“A post-mortem will be conducted at a later date, the results of which will determine the course of this investigation,” a garda spokesperson said.
“No further information is available at this time.”
