A Donegal trawler has sank near the Rockall Bank off the Scottish Outer Hebrides overnight.
The 25 metre St Catherine Laboure went down in the early hours of this morning.
The vessel, which was fishing for haddock, is owned by a well-known local fishing family based out of Greencastle.
A number of local fishermen were on board the vessel but all were rescued and are safe.
All crew members have been taken to Ullapool in Scotland for assessment.
