Donegal tourism and hospitality providers enjoyed great success at The 6th Irish Hospitality Awards 2024, taking home a string of prestigious titles.

The ceremony, held on Monday, July 1st at The Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport, was a night of celebration for the industry’s thriving professionals.

The awards provide a platform to thank and honour those who have contributed to making Ireland a friendly and welcoming place, enhancing the country’s reputation nationally and internationally.

Donegal’s impressive haul of awards went to a range of providers including John McGrory of John’s Ireland and Walking Ireland who won ‘Best Day Out’.

The Gateway Lodge in Donegal Town rounded out Donegal’s success story with a Highly Commended recognition in the Bed & Breakfast of the Year category.

A Spokesperson for the 6th Irish Hospitality Awards 2024 said: “Working for the hospitality industry can be challenging at times and the last few years have shown that. These awards aim to recognise those who have succeeded in this sector, despite the difficulties.

“There are people who have dedicated their whole career in making the country a special destination for visitors. It is time to give those professionals the recognition they deserve.”
