Two brave Donegal girls are the latest Little Blue Heroes to become Honorary Gardaí.
Madelyn Gallagher from Castlefin and Rosie Corkey from Drumkeen both got visits from Garda Catherine Callaghan this week, with some goodies in store as well.
Madelyn was given an induction pack including her own Honorary Garda hats as she awaits her uniform arriving.
Meanwhile Rosie had her full Honorary Garda uniform hand-delivered by Garda Callaghan.
The deliveries were shared on social media by An Garda Siochana Donegal this weekend.
“The people of Castlefin and Drumkeen won’t know what hit them when these two ladies are suited and booted and ready for patrol because they mean business! Don’t say we didn’t warn you!”
