Giddy up for the hilarious charity grand national at the Laurentic!

The Laurentic Bar in Buncrana is bringing back the funniest horse race you’ll see all year for their summer festival! This year’s event supports the Gavin Glynn Foundation, helping families of children getting cancer treatment abroad.

On Saturday, July 20th, place your bets on the fastest “horse” to win the Irish Grand National. But there’s a twist. These horses are adult toy horses, and the faster you bounce them, the faster they go!

Here’s a taste of what the audience is in for:

There will be bookies on hand to take bets, and all proceeds from the race will go to the Gavin Glynn Foundation.

Last year’s race raised €3,875 for Buncrana Children’s Charity,  and it’s hoped they can be just as successful this year.

The fun doesn’t stop at the races! The Laurentic Bar’s summer festival runs all weekend long, with music, dancing, and family fun for everyone.
