Is your bike ready for the road around the roads of Rathmullan?

Why not join Rathmullan Tidy towns at one of their maintenance workshops tomorrow, near the car park, being hosted by Gavin Hunter of LK Bikes Letterkenny.

There are 2 free workshops (3.30 & 4.15) and places can be booked on Eventbrite , see poster. Gavin will demonstrate correct methods of caring for your bike and issue excellent advice on various aspects on how to keep it roadworthy. Issues regarding appropriate clothing or footwear can also be discussed, so book your place asap to ensure you don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity.

Local residents are also invited to participate in an All Age Cycle later on Thursday evening with preregistration taking place at the Boathouse sheds from 6.30 with cycle starting at 7pm, and returning back to the Sheds afterwards for light refreshments,

The route via the Kinnegar Road will be fully marshalled and all young cyclists must be accompanied by a ‘Buddy adult Cyclist’.

This is not a race but a fun event to offer our younger cyclists more opportunities to participate on open road events, while enjoying a sustainable method of travel, and also our local environment.

Remember, no Helmet No ride, and we appeal to motorists to have due care and afford our budding cyclists adequate room on the roads to enjoy their outing. HIV Viz vests available at registration.
