Over €8 million of drugs as well as a sizeable quantity of cash was seized by Gardaí this morning as part of an organised crime clampdown.
The drugs, as well as €1 million in cash were discovered in Dublin and are believed to be tied to an organised crime gang.
Large quantities of cocaine and cannabis, as well as numerous other illicit substances including ketamine were seized in the drug bust.
Gardaí say a man aged in his 50s has been arrested after the seizure, which took place in a lock-up in Dublin.
