Crossroads and Killygordon Enterprise (CAKE) is inviting new members of all ages, both male and female, to join the community group.

To give a flavour of the work CAKE carries out in the area, they are holding an information evening on Monday 29th July at 7.30pm in the CAKE Centre that is open to anyone that might have an interest in doing some volunteering within their community.

“This is to be an informal meeting/get together over a cup of tea where you can find out more about the work and activities CAKE are involved with within our community and, if interested, consider where you might be able to assist and support,” a spokesperson for the group said.

“There will be no pressure on the night to become involved in anything, but if you are interested in community work, you have the option to come along to our AGM that will take place in September.”
