The inaugural Caoimhe Kelly Memorial Blitz is taking place this weekend to honour a dearly missed member of the Pettigo community.
Caoimhe, the number one supporter of Pettigo GAA, sadly passed on Valentine’s Day this year.
This Saturday 27th July, the community will celebrate the wonderful legacy of Caoimhe by holding an Under 8 blitz at 12noon. Naomh Bríd, Ederney St Josephs GAC, Aodh Ruadh CLG and Aghyaran St Davogs GAA Club have all accepted invitations to play.
The games take place as part of the Pettigo Harvest Fair which has fun for all the family.
Other activities not to be missed are the BBQ, live country music and Irish Dancing and a major fundraising auction, all in aid of the Pitch Development Fund.
